AvaPA FAQ - How to update your AvaPA License Key

If you are asked to update your license key, you will need a copy of your new license key either in an email or in something like notepad if we have given you the code on the phone. You can then follow the steps below:

  • Log into AvaPA as an Administrator
  • Open any Record Card
    AvaPA Record Card
  • Go to the Setup Menu and select "File locations and defaults"File locations and defaults
  • Select the "Locale" tabLocale tab
  • Select the License Key from the email we have sent you (or from Notepad if we gave you the details on the phone), ensure you have only selected the code its self and not the line the carriage return at the end of the line.

Copy the license key into the clipboard using +

Click the "paste from clipboard" button (the new code should now be visible spread across the boxes)
select the above date in the Licensed until end of list click
The text below the licence number should change to green and say licence until end of date above.
Please ensure the licencing information (including licence to name) is exactly as shown below
