Our recruitment software for temporary staff uses an event journal to record events that are going on over the next few days, weeks, months and years. Each user has access to their own personal event journal telling them where they are working and when. Managerial staff can access employee's event journals to update when they are working. The journal can also repeat events on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
Events can be linked directly to staff members or locations. Events and tasks can be created for individual staff, a group of staff or all staff, and this is dependent on the event requirements.
