Nurse availability diary is directly accessed from anywhere in
AvaPA. It is automatically displayed when making a phone call.
The window displays current availability for any selected date.
Availability or absence can be updated by simply checking the box
for the appropriate shift. Entire days can be marked as available
with one selection.
If the window is opened whilst a particular requirement or
booking is selected then text for an email or text message is
automatically generated.
As this window is often used during or prior to a telephone
conversation it is useful to have the following:

Availability for yesterday, today and tomorrow to avoid calls
during sleep periods or sensitive situations

Nurse Notes available for updating,

Any outstanding or soon to be required certification or
renewal information

Any outstanding shifts that the Nurse may be interested
in

Alternate contact numbers

Current accrued leave (hours and value)
